Villa Fede

Mlini is a small village situated halfway between Dubrovnik and Cavtat and only 20 minutes from Dubrovnik airport with a regular bus and boat service to all local attractions. It is divided into two sections, upper Mlini and Lower Mlini separated by the main road from the airport to Dubrovnik. Although most accommodation in the area is of a high standard you should be aware that access to upper Mlini involves a very steep hill which in the middle of a very hot summer can be very hard work. Public parking in all coastal villages and especially in Mlini is extremely limited and as there is only one small road with very few places for two cars to pass, driving can be a nightmare. Villa Fede is situated in lower Mlini just yards from the sea and offers free on site private parking to its guests

Mlini is a very peaceful village ideal for enjoying a relaxing holiday but if some nights you prefer something more lively you can take the beautiful 15 minute walk to the next village of Srebreno where there are several lively bars. There is also water sports and a new shopping mall with supermarket in Srebreno.

There is a choice between sunbathing and swimming on a beach with small pebbles or a large terrace where in one section they serve drinks and excellent pizzas. There is an excellent playground just outside the village and Mlini is especially perfect for families. There are two ATM's in the village and restaurants and bars are all within a short walk from Villa Fede.

Bridge
If you play bridge Derek there is twice weekly a bridge club in the local hotel and locals meet daily on the terassa where you are welcome to join in. Derek, one of your hosts at Villa Fede is a keen bridge player so can help you find a game.
